All Front Runner Roof Rack Kits come with installation instructions as well as all the components needed to mount the Slimline II to your vehicle.
Note: Your vehicle must be equipped with the factory raised rails to use this roof rack kit.
This roof rack kit removes leaving your vehicle's roof and raised rails in their original condition.
For a stronger expedition cargo carrying solution, Front Runner offers a specific attachment rail system for installing the roof rack on your vehicle. Front Runner attachment rail systems can be installed by removing the factory rails.
Factory rail kits are designed as a “light” loading solution. Please consult your vehicle owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended load capacity and do not exceed these limits.
For optimal loading capacity, we recommend that there be no load overhang (excluding sports equipment) and that all weight be distributed evenly across the roof rack.
Factory rail kits are not suitable for extreme off-road conditions and therefore you should consider a different Front Runner mounting solution if this is your purpose.
Contact us for advice on mounting solutions specific to your vehicle and use.
Note: The load for factory rail shelving kits should not exceed 88 lbs or 40 kg, and make sure the load is distributed evenly.
