A true natural product
The wooden spoon is made from local cherry wood and then oiled. Oiling gives cherry wood its characteristic reddish color, which further emphasizes its already pronounced grain. This grain is different on each spoon and therefore may not match our illustration.

Maintenance tips
Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. That is why you should not immerse your Petromax wooden spoon for a long time in water, but clean it well with hot water and washing powder, then put it upright and let it dry in the open air.
To enjoy your Petromax wooden spoon for a long time, please follow the instructions below: If use and cleaning reduce the protective layer of oil, you can rub the spoon with neutral-flavored vegetable oil or warm paraffin oil (paraffinum perliquidum). Let the oil soak in overnight, then rub off the excess. It is advisable to repeat this treatment regularly.
