The Mercedes G-Class is an engineering icon, and the 4x4project 2.65 Prerunner Mercedes G 0-2.5″ Kit has been developed to elevate its dynamic performance to a new level. Compatible with all diesel and gasoline versions, short or long wheelbase , this 2.65″ system brings racing technology to everyday use and expeditions, achieving a perfect balance between ride comfort and absolute control.

Designed for a lift range of 0″ to 2.5″ , its Direct-Fit anchors allow for quick installation without modifications, respecting the original structure of this legendary off-road vehicle.

Self-adjusting Digressive Valve

The G-Class can feel stiff on asphalt due to its rigid axles. Our intelligent twin-piston suspension system solves this:

• Refined comfort: Absorbs small irregularities and bumps in the asphalt with a smoothness superior to the standard version.

• Off-Road Control: The firmness automatically increases with the speed of the impact, keeping the chassis stable and under control even on the most demanding routes.

ACV Valves (Mechanical Accelerometer)

Inherited from our 9200 competition series, the ACV valve acts as a hydraulic brain in the separate reservoir.

• Anti-Cavitation: Multiplies resistance to thermal fade by up to 60% , ideal for long desert journeys or fast tracks.

• Impact Protection: Offers a smooth yet firm transition under heavy compression, avoiding the harsh bottoming out of the suspension that compromises the chassis.

High Hardness Stems (63 HRC)

We equipped 22mm rods , the same technology used in the Bypass 9300 shock absorbers used in Baja racing.

• Structural shielding: 3 mm induction hardened and finished in high-density hard chrome.

• Maximum Resistance: With a Rockwell hardness of 61-63 , they are virtually immune to the flexing and impacts that would destroy a standard shock absorber.

FK Ball Joints and Hi-Degree System

We have eliminated the market's weak points by implementing extreme radial load solutions:

• FK Ball Joints: Top aerospace quality, capable of withstanding up to 39,000 lbs of radial load (150% more durability).

• Running Silence: Standard PTFE (Teflon) band to ensure noise- and rattle-free operation.

• Total Articulation: 16mm steel pin with tilting Hi-Degree silentblocks , allowing the G-Class suspension to articulate freely without premature wear.

Thermal Management: Separate Large Volume Bottle

Our bottles are 30% larger to maximize the nitrogen chamber.

The key technical point: A larger volume of gas generates less back pressure when the shock absorber is compressed, reducing heat energy (Laws of Thermodynamics) and keeping the damping stable, cool and predictable.
