Ventilation may partially go through the fabric, but for the most part ventilation should be provided through windows/doors on all types and brands of tents. Condensation is mostly caused by ourselves, we humans produce a lot of humidity and the The air we exhale contains a lot of water vapour. For the inner insulation of roof tents we have a simple but suitable solution: an "inner sky". We have deliberately chosen not a complete inner tent, but just a sky. From the experience of our roof tent test panel, we have noticed that a full inner tent on the roof tent is not the most ideal solution. The inner tents that are now on the market have been tested by our test panel and show that the walls of the inner tents that are there touch the outer fabric of the roof tent at the bottom. This causes the inner tent to get damp at the bottom right where you are lying down. And you also experience this as uncomfortable. That's why we have chosen to provide only the ceiling with the additional layer of dust called heaven. Mounting is easy with Velcro and can be glued when closed. Heaven is made from 100% cotton so it is washable. Keep in mind a maximum of 30 degrees and do not tumble dry. Many people ask us: What about condensation? In the latter case there is usually no ventilation and there is a lot of humidity. To counteract this, it is important to reduce humidity or raise the temperature of the fabric above the dew point. You can reduce humidity by ventilating. You can bring the temperature above the dew point by heating.
