The James Baroud Vision M rooftop tent features a hydraulically operated, book-style opening system with a pioneering semi-automatic mechanism . Unlike other tents of this type, it opens almost as quickly and easily as a hard-shell tent . It exemplifies innovation and evolution, as it is the lightest canvas tent on the market (around 45 kg). And despite its more classic igloo-shaped design, it boasts exceptional comfort features and the same high-quality materials as other tents from the brand. It is available in two exclusive sizes, with an XL that can accommodate up to four people.

It does not require approval and can be stored when not in use.

Assisted opening and closing:

The lightweight aluminum frame comes folded and secured with a couple of straps, then covered with a PVC sleeve. Once released, the frame opens semi-automatically like a book , revealing its legs and the aluminum base that supports the igloo. Despite its lightness, it can withstand wind gusts of up to 80 km/h (55 mph).

Breathable and 100% Waterproof Canvas

Made with the same high-quality Tencate fabric as all James Baroud tents, it is 100% waterproof and UV resistant, which considerably reduces the interior temperature in summer and the cold in winter.

Interior comfort details:

The tent is finished with exclusive details . Its interior features a double- layered upper section, which helps insulate against the cold and noise. Like the others, it offers excellent panoramic views . In this case, thanks to the two large windows in the front and rear doors, designed with waterproof and transparent plastic, and its four corner windows, which, protected by mosquito nets, increase airflow and shield against wind and rain.

Access with folding ladder 

The mounting rails under the floor allow you to attach the tent to roof bars or luggage racks and open it to the right, left, or rear. Access is easy using a telescopic ladder. The tent closes as quickly as it opens by pulling a strap and securing the structure under a very practical travel cover that adjusts without the need for complicated zippers.
