Once these brackets are installed on a Front Runner roof rack, no tools are needed to remove or install a roof tent.
Simply release the tabs on the 6 latches and set up the tent in seconds.
No more wrenches in tight spaces during the “off season” or the slow takedown of a rooftop tent during the week.
This strong, rattle-free mounting system is made for use with Front Runner roof racks.
Compatible with the TENT031 and other popular soft shell tent brands such as TJM, ARB, Tepui, etc*.
Compatible with rigid tents such as Autohome/Maggionlina and James Baroud*. Rigid tent owners should read **IMPORTANT NOTE below.
6 low-profile base brackets bolt to a Front Runner roof rack while 6 self-aligning bushings attach to the tent base channels using the supplied plates.
Secures in place with 6 latches with safety latches. Can be locked with a RRAC134 combination cable lock.
Certain tent sizes and designs will dictate the height needed to clear the edge of the Front Runner Rack.
The brackets are small, discreet and can be left on the roof rack when the tent is not pitched, leaving ample space available on the roof rack.
No need to modify the store.
Disassembled tents can be stored on the ground, raised slightly off the ground by the supplied steel bushings.
Supplied with all necessary mounting accessories.
Assembly instructions are included.
TBMK035 or TBMK037 may be required for other store brands (sold separately).
*Soft and hard shell tents may require additional nut plates, sold separately.
**IMPORTANT NOTE: Hard frame tents require additional support. If you are using these brackets with hard frame tents, such as James Baroud or Autohome, and cannot position the tent to rest directly on the roof rack, or on the edges of the roof rack side profiles, use – TBMK009. Depending on the tent manufacturer, the rigid tent warranty may be void if the tent is damaged and adequate lateral support has not been provided for the rigid tent.
Note: Additional mounting brackets may be needed for some tent and rack combinations that require additional support.
