Slimline II roof rack for Mercedes Viano rails (2003-2014)

All Front Runner Roof Rack Kits come with installation instructions as well as all the components needed to mount the Slimline II to your vehicle.

Note: Your vehicle must be equipped with the factory raised rails in order to use this roof rack kit.

This kit can be removed leaving your vehicle's roof and raised rails in their original condition.

For a stronger cargo carrying solution, Front Runner offers a specific rail system to install the roof rack on your vehicle. Front Runner rails are installed by removing the factory or used rails if they do not have rails installed.

Note: This roof rack set is suitable for the Mercedes Vito van.

Factory rail kits are designed as a “light” loading solution. Please consult your vehicle owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended load capacity and do not exceed these limits.

For optimum load capacity, we recommend that there be no cargo overhang (excluding sports equipment) and that all weight be distributed evenly across the roof rack.

Factory rail kits are not suitable for extreme off road conditions and therefore you should consider a different Front Runner mounting solution if this is your purpose.

The standard 8mm screw fits into the T-slot at the top and bottom of the plate.

To determine the approximate height from the roof of your vehicle to the top of the Slimline II bar, you need to add the height of the Slimline II tray (50mm/ 2″) to the height of the foot, the Grab-On foot or the Strap-On foot listed above.

If the Slimline II bar needs feet, you have to add the height of the Slimline II tray (50mm/ 2″) to the height of the foot to determine the height of the bar from the rain gutter.

If the bar needs fixing rails, you have to add the height of the Slimline II tray (50mm/ 2″) to the height of the fixing rails to determine the height of the bar from the highest point of the vehicle roof.
