The 4x4project 2.65 Prerunner Defender 90/110 and 130 3.5-5.5″ Kit features the first high-performance suspension that maintains the Defender's legendary comfort even with high-rise modifications. It is compatible with the 200 TDI, 300 TDI, TD5, and TD4 (Puma) versions , with both diesel and gasoline engines and 90, 110, and 130 wheelbases.

With technology inherited directly from competition, these 2.65″ shock absorbers are designed for a lift range of between 3.5″ and 5.5″ , offering unprecedented stability and directional control in the market.

Self-adjusting Digressive Valve

Raising a Defender above 3.5 inches often compromises stability. Our intelligent dual-piston system solves this challenge:

• Comfortable Filtering: Absorbs terrain irregularities at moderate speeds with total smoothness.

• Control at the Limit: Automatically gains firmness as the pace increases, providing the necessary resistance to avoid bottoming out and keep the chassis level in critical situations.

ACV Valves (Mechanical Accelerometer)

Taken from our 9200 competition series, the ACV valve located in the separate reservoir acts as a hydraulic brain:

• Anti-Cavitation: Multiplies resistance to thermal fade by up to 60% , allowing constant performance on long routes through extreme climates.

• Supreme Protection: Acts as a progressive hydraulic stop against large impacts, protecting the chassis supports and axles from sharp blows after deep bumps or jumps.

High Hardness Stems (63 HRC)

We equipped them with imposing 22mm stanchions , the same technology used in the Bypass 9300 Baja-type racing shocks:

• Structural Shielding: 3mm induction tempered with anti-corrosion hard chrome finish.

• Extreme Hardness: They reach between 61 and 63 Rockwell , guaranteeing that the stem will not bend or fatigue under the massive lateral forces typical of a long travel suspension.

FK Ball Joints and Hi-Degree System

At elevations up to 5.5″, the working angles of rigid axles are extreme. We have designed the most robust solution:

• Oversized FK Ball Joints: Support radial loads up to 39,000 lbs (150% more than the competition). Includes PTFE (Teflon) raceway to eliminate noise and rattle.

• Total Articulation: The 16mm steel pin with tilting Hi-Degree silentblocks allows the shock absorber to follow the movement of the shaft without mechanical stress, protected by high-strength polyurethane.

Thermal Management: Bottle Separated 30% More

A 2.65″ body guarantees massive oil capacity, but the key is in the gas volume:

The technical benefit: An oversized nitrogen chamber generates less back pressure and heat (Laws of Thermodynamics), resulting in more stable and durable damping under intensive use.
